The second whisky of the Blaster Cask Series was The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year. This whisky was aged in traditional oak barrels for 14 years and then finished in Rum casks for added flavours. This incredibly smooth whisky has vanilla and fruity notes.
The selection was paired by Chef John D. Walls @culinarymagic with a beautifully crafted Ceasar Salad. I know…Ceasar? Yes! The dressing was sweet and not overpowering which paired superbly with this rum finished dram!
