An unlikely pairing

This unlikely pairing is what started it all for me.  Who would have thought a heavily peated single malt Laphroaig from Islay would pair well with a delicious homemade (by my loving wife Brandy) blueberry pie and French vanilla ice cream.  I think, more than just the flavours,  the care and love that went into making both the whisky and the pie is why they paired so harmoniously.
